Internal Audit Activities

Internal Audit is a unit under the Managing Director/CEO office whom is responsible of ensuring that the internal control mechanism of the organization is observed with a view to safeguarding and upholding the policies set in place for the smooth operations of the organization.

Some of the units activities are:

  • To ensure that final account produced, fairly represent the company performance and state of affairs at the end of any given period.
  • To verify and ensure that all the company’s assets are in authorized custody, location. Being safeguarded and covered by appropriate evidence of ownership.
  • To confirm that property department is involved in the purchase/development project and sales of the company properties.
  • To ensure that stock trading is conducted in line with company’s policies and the company dividends are accounted for and properly documented.
  • Routine daily financial transactions checking.
